Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTOLBERT (TOM) WILLIAM McGILL On Saturday, June 30, 2001, Tolbert passed away peacefully at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB. Born in Carman, September 3, 1910, Tolbert is survived by his wife Mary, son David, daughter Marylou, and special family member Barry Sharpe. Also left to mourn are his sister, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Tolbert served in the air force during the Second World War, worked for Manitoba Wheat Pool, and the Government of Saskatchewan. He and his family lived in Lowe Farm, Carman, Roblin, Melfort, and Yorkton. Tolbert was active in U.C.T., Legion, Masons, and Shriners. He volunteered for the Cancer Society for many years. He served the Yorkton Exhibition for 10 years, was the administrator for Anderson Lodge in Yorkton and was the coordinator for EMO in Northern Saskatchewan. His family, work, and service activities gave Tolbert much enjoyment. Those who were touched by Tolbert will be sustained by memories of his generosity and thoughtfulness. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 4 at the Boundary Trails Hospital Chapel at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choice. Doyles Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
