PEARL ODEA (nee CHASE) December 14, 1924 - June 30, 2001 On June 30, 2001, Pearl passed away peacefully at the middle Church Home of Winnipeg, with her children and special friend, Lindsay, beside her. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Paddy; parents, Seymour and Florence; brother Leonard; her son Wayne; and her son-in-law Barry. Pearl will be sadly missed by her children, Annette, David (Lynn), Cathy and Flo. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Cory (girlfriend Kara), Paula (boyfriend Sean), Joy and Rachel of Newfoundland; and great-granddaughter Sara of Newfoundland. Pearl is survived by her sisters Olga (Rolly) of Toronto and Grace, Claudine (Fred) and brothers Frank, Joe (Marnie), George (Joan) all of Newfoundland. The family of Pearl would like to thank the Middle Church Home of Winnipeg staff. We appreciate all youve done for Mom and for us. We cannot begin to thank you enough. A special thank you to Lindsay Mann and Donna Bennett who were Moms companions for the past years. Also a special thank you to Mickey Kojima and staff of W2 and to Patty Simmons and staff of the Special Care Unit and also to Dr. Haligowski. Cremation and private family interment have taken place.
