Colleen (Jayson Kowalchuk), Fran Bolonchuk, Mitchell Bolonchuk, Jesse Robinson, Riley Bolonchuk, Melissa and Billy Souch and their father Bob, Kelly Corbitt; great-grandchildren, Brock and Rackell Kowalchuk, Lara MacKenzie-Bolonchuk; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ivan and Roxy, Carl and Joyce, Ross and Bessie; sisters, Sadie Woloshen, Thelma (Medi Hince) brother and sister-in-law Elmer and Sylvia Brown; sister-in-law Jean Kitchen as well as many nieces and nephews. A soft spot in his heart was always kept for his friend Victor Baraniuk and nephew Orville Robinson. Frank was born at Bethany, MB on April 24, 1926. At the age of six his family moved to the farm 13 miles east of Erickson where he was raised and received his education. As a young man he joined the armed forces. After the service, Frank worked 33 years at the Winnipeg Transit before retiring to the farm where he and Chris resided until his death. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at the Scandinavia Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Messrs. Dick McClay, Orville Robinson, Richard Woloshen, Dennis Lavineway, Victor Baraniuk and Monty Johnson. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Franks memory to the Erickson District Hospital or to Cancer Research. Even though there were many months of suffering, Dad faced these days with courage and until his final days managed to maintain the wonderful sense of humour he was well known for. We, as his children knew how lucky we were to have him for a father and along with Mom will miss him always.
