Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTOMASZ ZAWISINSKI Peacefully, in his sleep, Tomasz Zawisinski, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2001 at the age of 76 years. Tomasz was born in Poland and served in the Polish Army. He came to Canada in 1946 and worked for the Canadian National Railway for 37 years. Tomasz enjoyed his retirement especially the time spent at his cottage at Twin Beaches. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Edward Koranicki in 1992 and his mother-in-law Anna Koranicki in 1994. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 53 years, Angela; nieces, Tracy and Kristi Konopada; nephew Chester of Delaware, and his family in Poland. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 3 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Ave. with Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Tomaszs memory to a charity of ones choice.
