MICHAEL ZWARYCH
Date of Passing: Jun 30, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL ZWARYCH It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear father, Michael, on June 30, 2001. Peacefully, with family at his side, he left our world to be reunited with his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary (predeceased 1998). He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Judy Perras (Rene), Monica Burns, Carolyn Evans (Blaine) granddaughters, Darcie (Rob), Rochelle, Erin (Jim), and Ashleigh; great-grandsons, Clifford and Michael. Mike was born and raised in Fisher Branch, MB. Although he spent his adult life in Winnipeg, he was a country boy at heart, always happiest planting trees and working in his garden. During the war, he joined the army in 1942 and was stationed in Sudbury where he met and married Mary. They returned to Winnipeg where Mike worked in the plumbing and heating business until his retirement in 1982. Dad was a strong and generous man - fair, compassionate, and deeply devoted to his family. We will always remember his big, deep voice, his sly laugh, his wisdom, and direction. The legacy he leaves his family is great. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Mikes memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or to a charity of ones choice. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2001, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre and interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
