Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE HOLLAND On Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, with his wife Jean by his side, Leslie Holland passed away at the age of 84 years. Born March 15, 1917 in Saskatoon, Les married Jean in 1941 and moved to Fort Erie and London, ON to work in an aircraft assembly plant, after which he moved to Lethbridge to work as a woodworker. In 1948 he moved to Teulon and worked with his brother Bert in the garage. Les was active in the community as a member of the Fire Department, school board, boy scout leader, school bus driver, taught gymnastics and took part in many concerts. Surviving besides his wife Jean, two daughters, Patricia Brownlee of Dryden, Bunny (Fred) Philpott of Disbury, AB; five grandchildren, Kerri, Morene, Susan, Lynne and Russell; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Maya and Emma; one sister Dorothy of Swift Current, SK. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Doug and Bert; and sister Phyllis. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the Teulon United Church. Rev. Ken Anstie will officiate. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Goodwin Lodge for sitting room furniture. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
