Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERBERT JOHN TAYLOR Herbert John Taylor, born September 1, 1916, passed away on July 4, 2001 at the Gimli Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Beatrice; one infant sister; two brothers, Clifford and William; and his wife Jean of 36 years in 1985. He is survived by his daughter Peggy (Bob) Stacey of Nanaimo, BC, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; stepdaughter Bernice (Whitie) Tetreault, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and special friend Jenny Park. Herb was born in the R.M. of Coldwell. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces overseas in the Second World War after which he lived in Winnipeg, later retiring to Winnipeg Beach. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 11 at Winnipeg Beach Legion Hall at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Herbert Taylors name to the Canadian Diabetes Association. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
