THOMAS NEIL LAWSON January 24, 1948 - June 28, 2001 Thomas "Neil" passed away on June 28, 2001 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, after a pretty good fight with cancer. Neil was predeceased by his wife Zelda ("four feet seven and a half") who died in March 1999, and his parents, "Tommy" and "Aileen" who loved him dearly. He was also predeceased by "Sam", the cat. He leaves three siblings, Barbara, Gail (Derek), and Jack (Leslie) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and "Brutus", the other cat. Many thanks to Dr. Martin, and the staff of the fifth floor, and previously the third at Seven Oaks, for their patience and compassion and the many other individuals that befriended Neil on his daily trips outside of the hospital. A special thanks to Neils good friend Liz, who made a difficult situation much easier for both Neil and the family. Neil always lived his life his way, and managed to maintain his sense of humour to the end. If you believe in the afterlife, you might see him at Grapes in the not too distant future. At Neils request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, remember to enjoy life, and help others do the same!
