PATRICIA YVONNE LEVACQUE (nee SANCHE) Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on July 4, 2001 with her family by her side, the Lord took Pat Levacque to His Heavenly Home at the age of 54. Pat was predeceased by her mother Verna (April 2000). She leaves to mourn her husband Edouard; her daughter Nicole (Albert) grandsons, Travis and Dylan; father Fernando; sisters, Alice (Peter), Michelle; brothers, Paul (Michelle), Daniel, Marc (Jo-Anne) sister-in-law Denise; and brothers-in-law, Robert and Marcel; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. One of her most important contributions was her gift as a dedicated and loving foster mother to 14 very special children. The family would like to express their thanks to CancerCare and a special thank you to St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care of Pat and kindness to the family. God Bless You All! Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
