Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE MARGARET (BROWNSON) TRICKETT After a courageous battle with cancer, Irene M. Trickett passed away peacefully on July 3, 2001. Irene was born May 30, 1941 in Winnipeg. She was employed with the Tribune and Winnipeg Free Press for many years. Irene retired last year due to her illness. Irene loved gardening, travelling and hosting family gatherings. Irene was predeceased by her mother Margaret Brownson in 1947 and brother Ronald in 1999. Irene is survived by her loving husband Ronald of 38 years; father Archie; stepmother Lillian; sisters, Patricia (Kevin), Faye (Harold), Dorothy (Niz) and Darcie (Brian) brother Wayne; mother-in-law Phyllis Trickett; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian and Dorothy Trickett; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Irene will be greatly missed by her husband Ron and family and her many dear friends. Cremation has taken place. At Irenes request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. Her husband Ron and family wishes to thank Irenes doctors, staff and chaplains on the Palliative Care Ward at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate loving care.
