LIAM GLEN WEAVER November 4, 1998 - July 3, 2001 Peacefully, surrounded by the comfort of his family, our beautiful little boy left us to play with his angels on Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at Childrens Hospital in Winnipeg. Its been two and one half years since our "Little Tiger" came into the world at St. Boniface Hospital, fighting strong with the prenatal diagnosis of autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease. Liam had many battles to contend with and in spite of this, grew to become a joyful, mischievous little soul that spread his smiles to all who came into his life on his short journey. Our "Little Professor" taught us all, a million times over, to live for today, every day with unconditional love. We learned to cherish every accomplishment and our lives are enriched with the privilege of knowing him. Left to celebrate his memory are parents, Sherry (Wood) and Glen Weaver; grandparents, Eileen and Wayne Wood, and Alice and Bruce Weaver; best friend Sherry Buors and family; many "aunties" and "uncles"; little friends; buddy Taz; very special nurses, doctors, and support staff of CK5 and Childrens Hospital whose collective love helped Liam to move mountains. To simply say thank you to all of the above people would never be enough, but know from the bottom of our hearts that having crossed paths with you, Liam and his family are truly fortunate. Among his angels, Liam will be protected and guided by his great-grandma Muriel, and great-auntie Lucy. We invite you to celebrate Liams life on Saturday, July 14, 11:00 a.m. at the family home near Balmoral. Please bring a lawnchair, as we reflect in the peaceful setting of Liams favourite place, with his sunshine on our faces and his wind in our hair. Lunch will follow at Balmoral Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba or Childrens Hospital Research Foundation in Winnipeg. "When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." Be at peace, little man - we love you so and will let our emptiness be filled by the memory of your kisses and warm breath on our skin. May the Great Spirit guide you safely on your journey.
