MARIA DO ESPIRITO SANTO FARIA Peacefully, on July 5, 2001, Maria Faria, aged 86 years, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Maria was pre-deceased by her husband Francisco in 1996; and her daughter Judite Pacheco in 1999. She was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, May 21, 1915. All her life she worked hard and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She leaves to mourn her daughter Berta (Artur) Faria and their children, Paulo (Rosa), Aida and Nelson Faria; her son Renato (Fatima) and their children, Ruben, Romuldo and Rudy; and a great-grandson in Portugal; brother-in-law Jose and children, Sandra and Marc; and a great-granddaughter in Portugal; and many nieces, nephews and friends in Portugal and Canada. The family wish to thank the staff of GA4 at Health Sciences Centre for their care and support. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, July 10 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Rev.
