PETER KOHUT On Friday, July 6, 2001, Peter Kohut, beloved husband of Helen, passed away at Riverview Health Centre. Peter will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 56 years Helen; son Jarvis (Heather) and daughter Patricia (Russ) Stotyn; grandchildren, Tom, Peter and Keith; brother Larry (Joyce) Kohut; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Peter was born in Rosa, MB. He met and married Helen in Rosa in 1945. They moved to Winnipeg, where he was self-employed as a mechanic and later in the construction business. After retirement he enjoyed going back to Rosa, where he built a cottage, enjoyed gardening and planted thousands of trees. He was a member of The Manitoba Christmas Tree Association. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Rosa with Rev. Fr. Miron Pozniak officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery, Rosa, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peters memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
