Bob was predeceased by his father Nicholas in 1976; and his mother Laura in 2000. Bob Warsaba was born on July 31, 1948 in Miami, MB. After graduating from Red River Community College (in Electrical Technology), Bob moved to Calgary, AB. Later, he moved to Edmonton, where he met his wife, Jacquie. Bob and his family returned to Grande Prairie in 1997, where for the last couple of years he enjoyed working for Northern Tractor. Bob was a dedicated family man who devoted countless hours to cooking his famous meals, chauffeuring all his children to their various activities, repairing the things his family relentlessly broke, and talking on the phone with family and friends. Bob will be sorely missed by his family, friends, neighbours and co-workers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 10113-103 Ave., Grande Prairie. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Grande Prairie Minor Hockey Association, 9535 Prairie Rd., Grande Prairie, AB T8V 6G5, or a charity of ones choice.
