Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS PATRICK GREEN Thomas Patrick Green, former editor of The Winnipeg Tribune, passed away at the age of 90 years at Riverview Health Centre on July 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Marjorie Claire; his children, Patricia Deighton (David), Michael Green (Vicki) and Connie Olivier (Dennis) as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Tom was born in Winnipeg, was educated in Winnipeg schools and attended the University of Manitoba. Subsequently he studied in Montreal and London. He was a career newspaperman and appointed editor-in-chief of The Tribune in 1965. Since his retirement in 1976 Tom and Marjorie have spent their winters in Palm Desert, CA, times which he described as the most carefree in his life. In accordance with Toms wishes a funeral mass limited to members of the immediate family has been held and interment has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Riverview Health Centre. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
