Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE FINNAN KEMP On July 6, 2001 at Kildonan Personal Care Home, Lawrence Kemp, beloved husband of Julia, passed away. Lawrence was born in Alexandria, ON in 1904, moving to Winnipeg as a child. Besides his wife, he is survived by his niece, Joanne (Jim) Rodgers and their family; his cousin Genevive; his sister-in-law Margaret Cox and her family. Predeceased by his parents, Anne and John; and two sisters, Violet and Alma. Lawrence served overseas for five years in the Second World War in The Lord Strathcona Horse army regiment. Following the war he was self-employed his entire life. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 300 Donalda Ave. with Fr. Greg Mulligan officiating. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Prayers on Tuesday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
