Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND JOHN ALEXANDER Raymond J. Alexander passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2001 at Deer Lodge Centre following a lengthy illness. Raymond was predeceased by his wife Dolly; and a brother Gordon. He is survived by a few special friends. Raymond was born on April 11, 1913 in Fort William, ON. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy for five years before working for the Winnipeg Free Press as a Fourth Class engineer until his retirement. A special thanks is extended to the staff of Tower 7 of Deer Lodge Centre, the Department of Veterans Affairs and to the many Legion visitors for their efforts over the past year. At Raymonds request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. When I quit this mortal shore And mosey round this earth no more Dont weep, dont sigh, dont grieve, dont sob: I may have struck a better job. Dont go and buy a large bouquet For which youll find it hard to pay. Dont stand around me looking blue; I may be better off than you!
