ALBERT BAUCH It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Bauch of Moosehorn on Saturday, July 7, 2001 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern at the age of 93 years. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Ferdin and Juliann Bauch; a brother Benjamin; sisters, Helen Hedquish, Alma Krempin, Wanda Bakk, Lydia Skipper, Elsie Altman, and Selma Hamlyn. He is survived by his niece Shirley (Carl) Plohman, and many other nieces, nephews, along with his good friends, Alfred Weigelt and Irene Weidner. Albert was born in Beausejour on November 2, 1907. He was gifted with the talent of a great singing voice and the ability to play the accordion. He played for many years for dances and sang in choirs. His younger years were spent trapping and working in logging camps in Manitoba and Ontario before moving to his farm in Moosehorn. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in New Home, with Rev. Donna J. Smalley officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Interment to follow in the New Home Cemetery.
