EILEEN (MOORE) ELLIOTT July 18, 1913 - July 7, 2001 "The soul would have no rainbows had the eyes no tears." It is with both rainbows and tears that we announce the death of Eileen Elliott, on July 7, 2001. Eileens greatest joy was her family and friends. She leaves us all with a gift of unconditional love and affirmation. She "lived well, loved much, and laughed often". Hers was a gentle spirit that lived every moment fully. She empathized with, and cheered for, the "underdogs". She listened well and always had time for others. She routinely gave much more than she received. Indeed - Eileen taught us all how to live. As by Noreen and her husband Glenn Duncan, Eileen will be greatly missed by her much-cherished granddaughter, Andrea. Her love and memory will also be treasured by her brother Barry and his wife Marguerite, and by several nieces and nephews, and many valued friends and neighbours. All are invited to join the family at a service to honour, remember and share memories of Eileens life. It will be on Thursday, July 12, at 2:00 p.m., at Augustine United Church, 444 River Ave., with Irene Rainey officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. To honour Moms gentle and life-giving spirit, those who wish can make memorial donations to the Butterfly Conservatory and Educational Galleries, through Friends of the Assiniboine Park Conservatory, Box 24017, 15 Conservatory Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3N 2B1 - or to a charity of ones choice. Eileen will always be with us - a part of who we were, who we are, and who we will become. For this we are truly blessed. Love you forever!
