COLIN L. INKSTER April 10, 1922 - July 5, 2001 It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Colin L. Inkster at the age of 79 years. Colin passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2001 in the St. Boniface General Hospital. Colin is predeceased by his mother and father and brother Neil. He is survived by and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Mary Inkster and brother Sam Inkster; nephew Bob Inkster and wife Susan; niece Mary Anne Flamand and husband Wayne; nephews, Neil Inkster and wife Marilou, David Inkster and wife Laura, Jim Inkster and wife Bonnie and families, along with other family members and his friends. Colin was born at 952 Somerset Ave. on April 10, 1922. He grew up in Fort Garry and attended General Steel School and later St. Pauls College and the University of Manitoba. During the war he served in the R.C.N.V.R. out of Dartmouth, NS. After the war he went back to university and obtained his law degree, in which he pursued a successful law practice as a partner in the Inkster, Walker, Westbury, Irish, Rusen & Hughes law firm until an early retirement. The family would like to thank the staff at 6A West, St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent care and special thanks to nurse Cheryl. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, July 16 at 3:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. According to Colins wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date.
