Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDUANE DENTON IWANICKI Tragically, on July 7, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre, Duane Denton Iwanicki passed away at the young age of 36. Duane is survived by his daughter Vienna McIvor; stepdaughters, Miranda, and Crystal; stepsons, Preston and Terrence; granddaughter Anika and their mother Jocelyn; parents, Dolores and Tom Dame, Don and Ethna Iwanicki; sister Donna (Shane) aunts, Jean, Shirley (Jerry), Beatrice (Melvin) uncles, Norman (Nellie), Larry, Terry (Loraine), Don (Shelly) and Alex (Pat) nieces, Jasmine, Justyne, and Nicolette; nephews, Kyle and Pierre (Godson) stepbrother Alan (Laura) stepsisters, Julie and Lorrie (Mark) special friends, Ron Bearden and Gord Johnson; also numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Duane was predeceased by his grandparents; niece Jaquelyn; uncles, Jack, and Frank; and aunts, Alice and Evelyn. He had been employed by Inter-Provincial Co-op for several years. Duane was an extra-ordinarily unique person, who could light up a room with his presence. He was a real guys guy and loved life to the fullest. His sense of humour will sure be missed. You knew when Duane was around, there was going to be a good story or joke to hear. He had so many plans that were so senselessly cut short. In accordance with Duanes wishes, his organs have all been successfully donated. All that knew Duane will feel an extremely huge loss. We are going to miss you D.D. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will be held at a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers a trust account has been set up for Vienna and donations can be made at any TD Canada Trust Branch, in care of Dolores Dame/Donna Iwanicki.
