JACK WILLIAM MORGOCH On Tuesday, July 10, 2001, with his family at his side, Jack William Morgoch, aged 75 of Lockport, MB peacefully passed away. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Evelyn Morgoch (Pawluk) of 53 years; son Johnny (Sharon) Morgoch; daughter Joanne Morgoch; granddaughters, Shannon Morgoch and Tanya (Steph) Gallant; sister Vicky (Tom) Mitchell. Jack was predeceased by his parents, John and Mable Morgoch; and granddaughter Candace Morgoch. He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends both young and old. Jack was born and raised in Lockport, MB. Though having spent time working in the open pit mines of Atikokan, ON, farming including potatoes, grain and market gardening would become his passion. His greatest joys included those Sunday drives to check on his grain fields along with countless evening walks to monitor the progress of his tomatoes and pumpkin patches. Jack was always an optimistic and positive individual. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and devoted husband. Jack loved to joke around with friends and family. Many evenings were spent full of laughter over a friendly competitive game of cards, piecing jigsaw puzzles, completing crosswords or watching his favourite TV shows. "I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now its time I travelled on alone." Prayers will be said on Thursday, July 12 (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m., also in the chapel, with Fr. Henry Lakusta officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Nicolas Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Gonor, MB. Jacks pallbearers will be Stephane Gallant, Gene Gunning, Terry Mitchell, Conrad Mlodzinski, Andy Pawluk, and Joel Rye. Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Buksak, Ed Campbell, Blaine Grabowski, Alec Pawluk, Ben Pawluk, Johnny Pawluk, Tommy Mitchell, and Doug Zawada. Heartfelt thanks go the the Cancer Care unit at the Health Sciences Centre.
