HENRI NICOLAS Peacefully on July 10, 2001, surrounded by his family, Henri Nicolas passed away at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Fernande (nee Masse) on February 18, 1969; his grandson Michel Tougas in 1976; and his second wife Elizabeth Levesque-Nicolas on June 9, 2001; also by three brothers, Joseph, Julien, and Jules. He leaves to cherish his memory seven children: Gerard (Olga), Angeline (Lou), Ronald (Jane), Guy (Roselyne), Claude (Simone), Raymond (Gisele), Helene (Bruce) numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also his siblings, Valentine, Jeanne, Ernest (Annette), Eugene (Lucienne), Therese and Leontine. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14 in the La Broquerie Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Leonce Aubin presiding. Interment to follow in the family plot, La Broquerie Cemetery. Viewing will take place prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Tache Centre and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the loving care given to our dad.
