DIEDRICH J. SCHROEDER 1913 - 2001 On Saturday, July 7, 2001 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Diedrich J. Schroeder, aged 88 years, of Winkler, formerly of Altona and Lowe Farm, went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Helena Schroeder (nee Harder) of Winkler; daughter Marlene Wiens of Winnipeg; two sons, Dennis and Linda of Steinbach, Randy and Irene of Lowe Farm; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister; one brother; many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler (1218th St.), Thursday, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a devotional at 8:00 p.m.; also viewing at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Altona, with Rev. Ed Funk and Rev. Menno Janzen officiating. Interment will follow at the Lowe Farm Cemetery. Donations may be made to Boundary Trails Health Centre, Palliative Care, Box 2000 Station Main, Winkler, MB R6W 1H8.
