DOUGLAS CLIFFORD (CLIFF) WARD Mr. Cliff Ward, aged 82 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2001 at East Gate Lodge, Beausejour, MB. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his daughter Louise Nadolsky (Richard) of Cooks Creek, MB; his granddaughters, Jennifer and Cyan; and great-grandson Ethan; and his brother and sisters. He was predeceased by his wife Bette in 1985. Cliff served in the Second World War as a sergeant major. He was a loving family man and a devoted friend to many. He was actively involved in game hunting, raising and riding quarter horses, and showing champion Springer Spaniel dogs with the Canadian Kennel Club. He was also an exceptional artist. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
