MICHAEL JOHN CHUDY JR. Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on July 9, 2001, Michael Jr., 56 years, beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Wasylik), passed away. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Michael Sr. and Nancy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Geraldine; sons, Jeffrey and Ryan (Holly). Also remembered by brothers, Brian (Irene) and Gerald; sister Janice; and numerous nieces, nephews; and close friends, Dave and Peter. Special thanks to Armand for his kindness and caring. Michael was born August 9, 1944 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He came to Winnipeg in 1946. Michael spent 30 years with various insurance companies, 16 years of which were spent at Marsh & McLennan Ltd. During his last years, he enjoyed the outdoors at Lake Manitoba. In accordance with Michaels wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14 at St. Stephens Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale, at 11:30 a.m. Donations may be made in Michaels memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
