WALTER HOLOWATY Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Walter was born on August 15, 1929 in the Moosomin area. Walter is survived by his wife Fay; sons Roger (Carolyn), Robert (Maureen) daughter Pat; grandchildren, Matthew, David, Brooke, Evan. He is also survived by his brothers, Joe (Jean), Larry Wallace (Annette) sister Marie Sauter (Clarence) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Ann and by a son Garry. Walter was self-employed for many years in the flooring business. He enjoyed camping, fishing, all sports and his trips to the casinos. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Oncology, I.C.U. and the Palliative Care Units of the St. Boniface Hospital for the wonderful care given to Walter. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m., at NBI Cremation Services, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, with Rev. Robert Jacobs presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
