Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA KASCHYSHYN February 21, 1914 - July 10, 2001 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Maria Kaschyshyn at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, July 10, 2001, at the age of 87. Maria was born, raised and farmed in the Rockwood District before retiring to Stonewall. The last three years she enjoyed living at Stonewood Place. Maria was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1993 and her great-grandson D.J. in 1998; also three sisters and one brother. She leaves to mourn her passing, one son Bill and wife Marion; five grandchildren, Craig (Pat), Bob (Colleen), Lynn (Carl), Darryl of BC, Karen (Luc). She also leaves her six great-grandchildren, Jody, Jamie, Shane, Cole, Jesse and Nicholas; two brothers, Jacob (Annette) and John; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 14 at 4:30 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best and Rev. Marc Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Molter, Dave Moss, Ron Molter, Ed Woods, Carl Hutman, Luc Collette. Honorary pallbearers will be all the residents and staff at Stonewood Place. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Stonewall United Church Memorial Fund, Box 1099, Stonewall, MB, R0C 2Z0. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, in care of arrangements.
