ELIN LILJA MOORE Peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2001 Elin Lilja Moore passed away at Calvary Place. She was predeceased by her husband Les; son Harold; sister Lovisa McNicholl; foster sister Gudrun Stefansson. Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter Marilyn (Jim) Marnoch; daughter-in-law Tanis Moore; grandchildren, Leah Moore, Jimmy, Leslie, and Keli Marnoch; niece Sigrid (Don) Zueff and family; nephew Martin McNicholl; as well as Les nieces and nephews; and close friends Ethel, Wally and Glen. Amma loved her family dearly and they were all very important parts of her life. Lil was very involved with the First Lutheran Church for many years, being involved with the church choir as well as the Icelandic Choirs. She was very passionate with her music especially the piano. Everyone who knew her, knew she lived for her children and grandchildren and they will miss her dearly. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. The family would like to give their thanks to the caring and loving staff at Calvary Place, who treated her like the queen of love that she was.
