SAU KING WONG Peacefully at the West Park Manor with her son and daughter-in-law at her side, Mrs. Sau King Wong passed away at the age of 100 years. She was born in Toy Sun, Kwangtung, China, on May 29, 1904. She was predeceased by her husband Kwan Lam Wong in 1995. In 1972, she and her late husband came to Canada to join and reside happily with her son and his family in Winnipeg. She was a kind, generous, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Randy (Sandy) Wong; grandson Myron (Makiko) Wong of Winnipeg; granddaughters, Bonita Wong of Calgary and Tammy Wong of Montreal; her daughter Sun Kwai Yee; grandson Chun Yu Yee (Mei-Ling) great-grandson Gar Fay Yee; and great-granddaughter Sau Kuen Yee of Hong Kong; her daughter Tai Kwai (Chuck Foon) Wong; grandson Roy Wong; granddaughter Lucinda Gee (Nee Yan) great-grandson Payton Gee; and great-granddaughter Kelsy Gee; granddaughter Billie Lee (Donald) great-grandson Ryan Lee; and great-granddaughter Jessica Lee, all of San Francisco; her sister Chun Ho Wong (Gat Lung) of Edmonton; and numerous nephews and nieces of Hong Kong and China. Many thanks to the management and staff of the West Park Manor for their excellent care. Viewing will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Kerrs Funeral Chapel, 120 Adelaide St. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, July 14. also at Kerrs Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Wing Mak officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Kerrs Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 943-6688.
