BILL STRUTHERS After a courageous battle with cancer, Bill Struthers, aged 64, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on July 11, 2001. Bill is survived by his wife Virginia; daughters, Ashley and Kaleigh; and son Greg. Also mourning this great loss are his brothers, Bob, John, Jim, Bruce, Tom, Doug, and Scott; sisters, Gwen, Betty, and Barbara; and extended family. Bill spent most of his working life in the bowling business. His life led him steadfastly on a path of truth. He had a kind, loving heart with a clear, quiet understanding of life and how it ought to be lived. Such is the legacy he leaves the family he treasured and with whom he shared his wisdom and love. The family would like to thank Dr. Ralph Wong, Kathy and Shawn at CancerCare Manitoba, as well as all the wonderful staff on the 8th floor, Palliative care ward. Virginia would like to thank management and her co-workers at Hansard for allowing her the flexibility to spend so much time with Bill. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment at Garry Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation to CancerCare Manitoba would be appreciated.
