MARJORIE DAVIES Marjorie Davies passed away at the Grace General Hospital on Friday July 13, 2001 at the age of 80 years old. Beloved wife of Glenn Davies. Mom was predeceased by her mother Avis Hayward in 1956 and her Father Harold Hayward in 1969; also many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her loving husband of 59 years, Glenn; her two daughters, Lorraine (nee Davies), Darlene and husband Ron Klassen; also by one grandson Shane and wife Karen Schultz; one granddaughter Shannon and husband Jason Brown; one great-grandson Cole Brown; and many cousins. She is also survived by sister-in-law Gwen Dafoe and family of Hamilton, ON. Mom will be remembered as a hard worker, a very loving mother, grandmother and wife. Mom worked at the Manitou Hospital as a nurse until her retirement. In 1993 they moved to Winnipeg to be near her family. Mom had many friends and helped every one that needed her. The family would like to thank DRs and Nursing staff that took excellent care of her. Also a special thank-you to the Home Care workers who did a marvelous job taking care of her. Funeral service will be held from the Manitou Elim Temple in Manitou, Manitoba on Tuesday July 17 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. W. Reinheimer and Rev. Tom Shipman officiating. Interment will take place in the Altamont Cemetery. All of Moms friends may consider themselves honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Marjories memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 301-352 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Doyles Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
