GLADYS JEAN NACINOVICH (nee HAZELWOOD) It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Gladys Nacinovich at the Grace General Hospital, on July 12, 2001 at the age of 70 years. Gladys was born and raised in Stony Mountain and spent the last 20 years in Winnipeg. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Roger in 1976; and grand-daughter Jenifer Nacinovich in 2001. Remaining to forever cherish Gladys memory are her sons, Bill (Pam), Les (Lori), and Carl (Donna) her daughters, Bev Antonchuk (Dave) and Carol Heidinger (Vince). She is also survived by her eight brothers and sisters, Doreen (Jim) Stansfield, George (Margaret) Hazelwood, Fred (Blanche) Hazelwood, Sid (Dora) Hazelwood, Mike (Audrey) Hazelwood, Alec Hazelwood, Margaret Cooney and Louise Ferguson. Gladys will be lovingly remembered by her grand-children, Kim, Joel and Matt Antonchuk; Jonas and Derek Nacinovich; Nick and Caitlyn Nacinovich; Isaac, Joshua and Sean Steinke; great-granddaughter Alexandra Point and her second great-grandchild due in August. Also left to mourn are numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane, on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
