OLGA MALSKI Peacefully, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, Olga Malski, aged 83, passed away July 11, 2001 at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital with her daughters and sister at her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Judy and Irene (Fred) of Teulon; grandchildren, Shelly (Lorenzo) of Williams Lake, BC, Linda (Mitch), Todd (Joyce) of St. Andrews, MB and Skipp (Betty) and great-grandchildren, Scott and Sean of Steep Rock, MB. Also two sisters, Anne of Winnipeg and Kay of Gimli; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Jessie Tkach; her daughter Linda; her first husband Rudy Kiel and her second husband Steve Malski. Mom was born in Fraserwood, MB, September 29, 1917 and lived in many different areas of Manitoba during her life. She and Steve made their final move to Teulon where she made many friends, especially while walking her dog Angel. Her garden was her pride and joy. Everyone always marvelled at her "green thumb" and admired her beautiful flowers every year. Mom was a warm, caring person who loved her family unconditionally. She had a kind and loving heart which she showed in many ways, especially by cooking and baking which she shared with her family, friends and neighbours. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service at MacKenzies Funeral Chapel in Teulon on Monday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. VICHNAYA PAMYAT The family wishes to express our sincere thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of Hunter Memorial Hospital for the loving care they gave to Mom. Also to Dr. Hutfluss and staff of Grace General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, Mom requested that donations be made to Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. God looked around his garden And found an empty space He then looked down upon this earth And saw her tired face, He put her arms around her And lifted her to rest; Gods garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. He knew that she was suffering. He knew she was in pain. He knew that she might never Get well upon this earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So he closed her weary eyelids And whispered, "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose her, But she never went alone, For part of us went with her The day God called her home. Thank you for being so special and wonderful. You will be missed. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
