PETER WALTER DERHAK Peacefully on July 11, 2001 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Peter Derhak, aged 87 years of Winnipeg, MB. Peter was born at Winnipeg Beach on June 24, 1914 and lived his early years at Matlock, MB. He served with Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War and upon his return lived in Winnipeg and has lived there since that time. Viewing will be held at the Gilbert Funeral Chapel, Selkirk on Monday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Peter leaves surviving, a son Kenneth of Winnipeg; a daughter Linda of Colorado; a brother Edward of Mss. USA; a sister Anne of Niagara Falls, ON; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by sisters, Mary and Phyllis; and brothers, Bill, Paul, and Martin.
