BERT DREGER February 17, 1941 - July 14, 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bert Dreger at the Riverview Health Centre on July 14, 2001. After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Bert is finally at peace. Bert leaves to mourn his loving wife Ina; children, Hal (Dianne), Guy (Rhonda), Lisa and step-daughter Susan (Roger) grandchildren, Alexander, Aric, Faryn, Bethany, Michael, Shari, Wesley, Nicholas and Patrick; brothers and sisters, Hilda (Bert), Erna, Elsie, Martha, Henry, Herbert (Lil), Olga (Al), Victor, Emily, and Hertha (Wes) special friend Dick McBride; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Bert was predeceased by his parents Emil and Helen; and brothers Wilhelm, Edward, and Rynold. Bert was raised at the family homestead in Grahamdale, MB where he continued to visit and enjoy gardening and the outdoors throughout his life. He started working at an early age in the lumber industry. He was a hard worker and a skilled carpenter who continued to work hard until he was forced to retire due to his illness. Bert liked to spend his time with family and friends. The family would like to thank the caring and supporting staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the Riverview Health Centre. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave, Aubrey Street entrance.
