WILLIAM BLENUS (GLENN) BOND MAY 28, 1935 - JULY 14, 2001 Suddenly, at his residence, after a brief illness, Bill (Glenn) Blenus Bond passed away on July 14, 2001. Bill was predeceased by both of his parents, Winnifred and Charles Bond and his brother Byron. Left to mourn are his wife Jane; daughter Laura Fitzgerald of Calgary; son Charles; three grandchildren, Chad, Ashley, and Tanner; sisters and brothers, Erva and Gordie, Audrey, Eunice, Melvin and Norma, Gerald and Helen, Janice and George, Sharon and Kennie, Ruby, Rose, and Linda; sister-in-law Linda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Bill retired four years ago from his own landscaping business. He loved gardening - flowers "bloomed" when he planted them. Special thanks to Grace Hospital Emergency Department, the fifth floor staff, as well as my many friends at the Grace Hospital for being there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills memory to the Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19 also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Interment and reception will follow.
