ALICE "MICKEY" DOUGLAS It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Mickey on July 13, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre. Mickey will be sadly missed by her loving husband Rooney; her daughter Valerie (Jack) and her dear friend Dawna Morse. She will also be missed by her brother Lloyd (Noreen) Johnston; two uncles, Gerald and Harold Duncan; and her brother-in-law Robert Jones. She also leaves to mourn other extended family and special friends. Mickey was predeceased by her sister Erma Jones. Mickey loved to bake and spend time at the cottage at Lester Beach. She was a fun loving and generous woman who always had an ear for anyone. She will be missed by all those who knew her. Mickeys family would like to thank Doctors Ron Maier, Lisa Bryski, Bruce Campbell, and nurse Keith all from emergency at the Health Sciences Centre. A special thank you to Dr. Green and all the staff of ICU for the wonderful care they showed our wife and mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mickeys memory to a charity of ones choice. In accordance with Mickeys wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in the Garden of Prayer at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18 with a reception to follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre.
