WENDY ANN GILMOUR August 29, 1953 - July 14, 2001 Tragically on July 14, 2001 Wendy passed away at the age of 47 years. She was predeceased by her husband Bob Gilmour, and her mother Barbara Laing. She leaves to cherish her memory her dad, Gordon Laing; brother Gordon Laing Jr.; son Rob; daughters, Terri and Sherri; and granddaughters, Kelly and Bailey. Wendy was born on August 29, 1953 and resided in St. James for most of her life. She was a very loving mother, who lived life for her children. To all those who knew our mom she was a caring person who would do anything for you, and never ask anything in return. A private family service will be held. We did not know that morning What sorrow the day would bring, The bitter grief, the shock severe To part with one we loved so dear. You bid no one last farewell, No chance to say good-bye, You were gone, Mom, before we knew it And God only knows why. We pray that when you left us, That you knew how much we cared, Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through, We will always love and cherish memories of you. We hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, You walk with throughout our lives Until we meet again. Mom We know your happy where you wanted to be.
