PETER L. KEHLER Sadly, Peter L. Kehler passed away at the Grace Hospital on July 14, 2001 at the age of 86 years. He was predeceased by his wife Ruby in 1991. His memory is cherished by his son Reg, daughter-in-law Sylvia; and grandchildren, Murray and Jillian; and sister Ann Nikkel. Dad was born October 21, 1914 in Rosenfeld, MB, where he lived, grew up and worked for his father in the family run lumber yard. In 1942 he married Ruby Neufeld of Gretna, MB. Dad was employed by Eatons until retirement, working in the Mail Order and store. In July 1998 Dad moved into Beacon Hill Lodge where he resided until February of this year when he moved to Calvary Place Personal Care Home. The family appreciated the personal care and attention the staff lovingly provided for him. We would like to thank the staff of both Beacon Hill Lodge and Calvary Place for their care of dad and to 3 North staff of Grace Hospital. Funeral service will be held at Elim Chapel, 546 Portage Ave. on Wednesday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund of Elim Chapel or the Alzheimer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
