Bruce Douglas Macpherson, SB StJ, CD, ADC, SMOTJ, at his home in Harrow, ON on July 14, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Anne Ritchie. Dear father of Roderick, Duncan, Beth, Ian and Catherine. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren. Dear brother of Gordon and Betty. Bruce was the son of the late Rev. Dr. and Mrs. A. Gordon Macpherson of Toronto. Mr. Macpherson was a retired executive of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation after 33 years of dedicated service in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Windsor, Former Commanding Officer of the Queens Own Cameron High-landers (Winnipeg) and a former Commander of the Windsor Militia District, an elder at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (Windsor), and involved with St. John Ambulance and King Edward Lodge AF & AM. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (405 Victoria) on Thursday, July 19 after 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer centre.
