KATIE FALK Early Monday morning July 16, 2001 Katies soul took flight to realms of glory. Katie was born in the Ukraine, and immigrated to Canada in 1923, with her mother, two sisters, and brother-in-law. She was deeply grateful to live in this country. They settled in Herbert SK, where she attended school and worked. After the death of her mother, she and her sister moved to Winnipeg, where she worked at Universal Printers. Her faith in Jesus Christ was most important to her. She was a member of Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church. Grateful thanks to the staff at Donwood Manor for their loving care. Also thanks to Dr. R. Martens. She leaves to cherish her memory her many nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Jacob Pauls officiating. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
