Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE PETKAU (nee FEHR) January 14, 1911 - July 17, 2001 Peacefully on July 17 at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Annie Petkau, formerly of Bethel Place, went to be with the Lord. Annie will be greatly missed by her sons, Abe (Mary) of Myrtle, Ben (Madeline) of Devon, AB and John (Marina) of Winnipeg; and daughters, Norma Coffey of Winnipeg and Jessie (Mike) Prokopchuk of Winnipeg; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, numerous nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, a sister, a sister-in-law and a son-in-law. Annie worked at A&W in Fort Garry for 13 years until she retired to Carman. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Central & Sherbrooke Dialysis and also Golden Door. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8. Friends may call to pay their respects Thursday evening (tonight) between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service to be conducted by Pastor Dave Hay on Friday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. also at the chapel with burial to follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Robert Petkau, Marvin Petkau, Andrew Prokochuk, Patrick Coffey, David Petkau and Russell Petkau. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
