KORISHA RAMPAUL August 30, 1945 - July 17, 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Korisha Rampaul. After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Korisha is at peace. Korisha leaves to mourn her loving husband Ken; children, Carol Ann (Sammy), Sherry Ann (Brent) grandchildren, Samantha and Samuel Jr.; sisters and brothers, Norisha, Ajiman, Zinora, Rasheed, Shaheed, Nazim and Bobby; mother-in-law Phoolo Rampaul (Trinidad) sisters-in-law, Tara Maharaj (Harri), Dolly Maraj (Sam), Molly Rampaul (Glen), Sandra Mohammad (Farouk) brother-in-law Dr. Winston Rampaul (Yvette) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Korisha was predeceased by her parents, Samsir and Hazra; brothers, Nizam and Hamid and her sister Feroza. Korisha spent her early life in San Fernando, Trinidad and, accompanied by her two daughters, immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in September 1977 to join her husband Ken. They spent a beautiful life together in Winnipeg. The family would like to thank Dr. Bellan, Dr. Krepart and Dr. Turner as well as other staff at CancerCare Manitoba, for their devoted care during the past nine years. Also, the family thanks the nursing staff at the Womens Hospital for their loving care. A public viewing is taking place in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy #1 East at Green Acres Lane, on Thursday, July 19 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 20 in Green Acres Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment is to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
