EDWARD JOHN ADAMS Born January 31, 1944 in Winnipeg. Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family, July 16, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ed will remain forever in the hearts of his wife Janet; son Todd; daughter-in-law Dorothy; daughter Shelley; son-in-law Peter; grand-children, Jarryd, Zackary and Isabelle; predeceased by mother Erna in 1992; surviving father John; brother Ron (Barb, niece Michelle) and sisters, Darlene and Shirley. Ed was born and raised in Winnipeg and married a Dauphin girl, Janet in 1966. They celebrated their 35th anniversary in May. As a young man, Ed embarked on a very successful sales career with World Book Educational Products. This partnership lasted 25 years as Ed and his family made many moves up the promotional ladder which took them from coast to coast. When this company downsized, he found a new love and passion with Mannatech Inc. Again he rose to the challenge and built a 10,000 person downline while achieving presidential status. Ed loved people, travel, meetings and being "on the move." We will all miss his incredible smile, enthusiasm and positive attitude. His last year in Kelowna, he learned to enjoy his garden and cherry and peach trees. We will sorely miss him. Special thanks to the staff at Palliative Care Unit at Kelowna General Hospital. Eds Celebration of Life Memorial will be held Thursday, July 19, 1:00 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd., Kelowna, BC.
