FLORENCE FRANCES ROSS (nee HADALLER) Peacefully on Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at Kildonan Personal Care Home, at the age of 94 years. Florence was predeceased by her husband George in 1992 and brother Fred in 1970 and grandson Grant in 2000. Florence is survived by her daughter Yvonne Barrill and husband Frank of Kingston, ON; son Dennis and wife Lily of Winnipeg and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Emmalou Street of Vancouver and brother Don of Winnipeg. Florence was born in Dieterich, Illinois on November 20, 1906. She immigrated to Canada settling in the Rossmore Area in 1908. She returned to Dieterich between 1914 and 1921. In 1921 she returned to Hazelridge, MB. Florence and George were married in 1929. Florence enjoyed sewing and making various clothes and toys for the grandchildren. She also enjoyed the Anola cabin a great deal. You were always welcome for a good home cooked meal from Flos kitchen. Cremation has taken place and at Florences request, no service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
