DAN DANYLCHUK Passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 11, 2001, Mr. Dan Danylchuk, at the age of 81 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Danylchuk, of Lethbridge, AB. Dan was born near Stuartburn, MB on November 5, 1919, the youngest of four brothers. His early years were spent on the family farm near Emerson and Dominion City, MB. On February 21, 1943 he married Mary Dolynchuk. Dan farmed and was an Imperial Oil agent for the community. Dan moved his family to Winnipeg in 1955, where owned and operated Park Gasoteria and was involved in community service until 1967. Together Dan and Mary raised four children. They retired in 1984 to Abbottsford, BC where they resided until their move to Lethbridge, AB in March of 2001. Besides his loving wife Mary, Dan is survived by his daughters, Adeline (Don) Barrett and Tracey Roberts; his son Dave (Jeri) Danylchuk; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Peter Danylchuk; his brothers, John and Mike and infant brother, Paul; and his oldest son Ernie Danylchuk. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 27 in St. Basils Church, 202 Harcourt St., Winnipeg, MB. Honorary pallbearers are Ed Danylchuk, Peter Howard, Doug Danylchuk, Bruce Danylchuk, Don Barrett and Chad Roberts. Flowers are gratefully declined, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 210-D, 12 "A" St. N., Lethbridge, AB T1H 2J1 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 1011-2 Ave. S., Lethbridge, AB T1J 0C8.
