CONSTANCE B. ALLISON April 4, 1915 - July 20, 2001 After a valiant battle against the effect of two strokes and a severe concussion, Connie passed away. She was predeceased by her first husband Thomas Allison and is survived by her second husband Len McMurtrie, as well as by her nieces, Jay McCrimmon and Lynn Hamelin; her nephew, Don Campbell, and her sister-in-law Jean Danks (nee Allison). Connie was a keen bridge player, an excellent dressmaker and a talented craftswoman. She was a loving wife and a faithful friend who will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway on Thursday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers friends may make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg R2L 9Z9 or to an animal shelter in her memory.
