Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN JAMES COCHRANE With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Norman Cochrane, aged 77 years on Saturday, July 21, 2001 at his residence in St. Peters, MB. Norman is survived by brothers, Dennis of Fort St. John, BC, Albert of St. Peters, William (Dorothy) of Gimli, Alex of Grande Prairie, AB; sister Rachel and husband Mike Belak of Selkirk; very special friends, Bill Atkins Sr., Bill Atkins Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Nick Gorda; special cousin Vi Swanson; his handyman cousin Bob; along with many cousins and friends. Norman was predeceased by his father Alexander Cochrane; mother Isabella; brother Henry; and sister Cora. Norman was born in St. Peters, MB on December 13, 1923 where he lived and worked on the farm. He owned his own cattle which he sold when he started to get disabled. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel, with Rev. Canon Godfrey Mawejje officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. Normans pallbearers will be Bill Atkins Sr., Bill Atkins Jr., Nick Gorda, Victor Helgason, Garth Clemons, and Keith Smith. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
