MAUREEN EVELYN FAVEL CAMERON (MOJO) August 10, 1954 - July 21, 2001 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Maureen Evelyn Favel Cameron (Mojo), of Fisher River Cree Nation, on July 21, 2001, at the age of 46 years. Maureen leaves to mourn her husband Barry; daughter Tammy; son Kurt (Geraldine) grandchildren, Bishop, Justine, Little Kurt, April, and Clifford; sister Ardel (Larry) brother Mervin (Agnes) her little hearts, Hartley and Marissa; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Vera Favel; brothers, Richard, Allan, Floyd, Barry, and two infant brothers; sisters, Eileen, Laura, and Mary. Maureen lived her life to the fullest. Maureen and Barry made their home in Peguis, MB where she had many friends. Maureen will be sadly missed, always respected, loved and remembered by her loving family. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Percy E. Moore Hospital for their care and love shown to Maureen. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. at the St. Mathews Anglican Church, Peguis, MB. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stevens Memorial United Church, Fisher River, MB with Rev. Barry Bear and Rev. Gloria Muskego officiating. Interment to follow at the Fisher River Community Cemetery. Pallbearers: Reney Thomas, Oliver Cameron, Tannis Cochrane Cook, Wayne Smith, Ronnie Spence, and Philip Charles Sinclair. Honorary pallbearers: Charlotte McPherson, Phillip (Bud) Stranger, Kurt Favel, Ivan McPherson, and Claudette Choken.
